2. Information We Collect
2.1. Information you provide directly

• Email address, used for account creation and communication;
• Information submitted through contact forms or expressions of interest;
• Metadata generated in connection with wallet creation through a third-party provider.

2.2. Information we collect automatically

• IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and language;
• Activity logs, including access time, content viewed, and interactions;
• Referrer URLs and session metadata.

2.3. Data collected at the level of an offering
The Platform itself does not collect identity documents, national identification numbers, tax identification numbers, or biometric data.
Where you proceed to onboarding for a specific offering, identity verification, source-of-funds checks, and AML screening are carried out by the relevant special purpose vehicle (the "Issuer") and its service providers, including licensed KYC/AML providers and regulated administrators or trustees. Those parties act as independent controllers of the personal data they collect for that purpose and process it under their own privacy notices, which are provided to you at onboarding. Liqvid receives confirmation of your verification status and eligibility.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on one or more of the following bases:

• Consent, where applicable;
• Legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, and analytics;
• Contractual necessity, in order to enable access to Platform features;
• Compliance with legal obligations.

4. Use of Data
We use personal data only in order to:

• Enable user access and authentication;
• Communicate with you about Platform activity;
• Improve Platform performance and security;
• Prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorised access;
• Comply with regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data, use it to market third-party products, or use it to profile you for automated investment or financial decisions.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share personal data only with:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers, and the third-party wallet provider;
• Issuers, their administrators, trustees, and licensed KYC/AML providers, in connection with onboarding to a specific offering;
• Legal and regulatory authorities, upon valid request;
• Advisers and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.

We do not transfer personal data for advertising or commercial monetisation.
6. Cookies and Analytics
The Platform uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and for basic performance measurement. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in order to comply with legal, audit, and security obligations. Upon request, we will erase your data unless retention is required by law. Data collected at the level of an Issuer is retained by that Issuer and its service providers in accordance with their own retention policies and applicable AML record-keeping requirements.
8. Security
We apply commercially reasonable safeguards, including TLS encryption, access controls and logging, rate limiting, and anomaly detection. No system is fully secure. You remain responsible for protecting your wallet and access credentials.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access or correct your personal data, request its deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, request portability of your data, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact contact@liqvid.xyz. Where the data in question was collected at the level of an Issuer, we will direct your request to the relevant controller.
10. International Transfers
Personal data processed through the Platform is stored and processed in the United States. Transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or an applicable derogation under Article 49 GDPR. Details of the safeguards applied are available on request.
11. Children's Data
The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date and version number. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
